This article makes some suggestions that armor skins are faction exclusive:

"Each culture produces its own designs, which are fashioned with an eye toward defending against the specialized weapons of enemy factions."

The article says that this style was influence by this faction, and that each side produces it's own designs...but being a mercentile society (as it stated in the article) wouldn't their designs be traded AT LEAST in Cantha common areas? I'm not saying it's one way or another till it comes right out and says, you can only buy this skin from this faction, but I'm still leaning toward the placeholder theory.

I love that sentinel skin especially the 15k version, so if I can get them in gladiators, so much the better.

um, if the factions visible armours are anytihng to go by...

not *EVERYONE* gets a full 3 style set.
Necro armour only showed up as 2 diferent styles....
(if i remember right)
whereas everyopne else got all their 3 styles of armour....
(wont mind if they were just finishing the last parts of the last necro armour and hadnt done it by the freebe trial though)

IMO they just havent made the different skins for each armor, so they just made all luxon like beserker etc. but i dont know.

No. The point is that the stats and the look of the armor are independent.

I know, but there's a nation's skin. Setinel is a _type_ of armor as well as Gladiator's. The skin of armor is the pictures that were shown.
